National female team of Kazakhstan on wrestling won 2 gold medals in Asia championship, which took place in Korea on 16-18, February; one of them was won by student of “Sport and tourism” faculty Elena Shalygina.
Student of M.Auezov SKSU Elena Shalygina became Asian champion in weight category 67 kg, having won Vietnamese Ti Loan Pham 8:1, Chinese Xenew Lew - 0:1, 1:0, 1:0 and Mongolian BayarzaI Tsenderdorzh - 1:0, 4:0.
